Revolutionizing Sales Through AI: A Doctoral Approach

Challenge

With the corporate landscape rapidly evolving with the emergence of Industry 4.0, I faced the task of reshaping the sales paradigm within a traditional framework. My objective was not only to integrate advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the sales process but also to foster acceptance among a team accustomed to conventional methods. The challenge was two-fold: harnessing my extensive academic knowledge from the University of Florida's Doctorate of Business Administration program to pioneer a digital transformation and overcoming resistance to change within the sales force.

  • Educational Foundation: I pursued a rigorous Doctor of Business Administration at the University of Florida, where I mastered a suite of analytical and strategic skills including Advanced Data & Regression Techniques, Quantitative Data Analysis, Advanced Research Methods, and Change Management.
  • Research Application: My dissertation, "Application of the Technology Acceptance Model to the Adoption of Artificial Intelligence by Salespeople," provided a scholarly perspective on facilitating technology adoption. The research synthesized academic principles with practical sales approaches.
  • Strategic Implementation: Utilizing Change Leadership theories, I developed strategies to lead the sales team through the technological transition, emphasizing the benefits of AI in enhancing customer interactions and sales forecasting.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Expertise: My wide-ranging academic background enabled me to address the multifaceted aspects of AI adoption—from technical implementation to cultural acceptance.
